Follicular unit hair transplantation

Hair grows naturally in units of one to four hairs. The hair groups are referred to as "follicular units". Advanced techniques now enable us to precisely transplant these follicular units. Tiny single-hair follicular units are ideal for creating a natural-looking new hairline. Larger units of two to four hairs are placed behind the hairline to fill in thinning or balding areas. These transplanted hair grafts begin growing a few months after surgery and result in natural, healthy hair. Dr. Zloty uses the latest micro-surgical technologies, including the use of both saggital and coronal slits (some as small as 0.75 mm), stereoscopic microscope dissection of follicular units, and implantation using micro forceps.
